Title: A SWOT Analysis of the Development of Border Defense Language Capability

Abstract: Relevant research on the development of national defense language capability is on the rise, but there are relatively few studies on border defense language and its capability. On the basis of SWOT analytical framework, this study sorts out the main connotations and basic characteristics of border defense language capability, and uses SWOT theory to analyze the advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of the development of border defense language capacity from the perspective of national defense language capability. It puts forward constructive suggestions according to the reality of border defense language capability in China in the hope of offering a new theoretical perspective for border language capacity development.
