Title: How Should We Read V. S. Naipaul, William Golding and Other Novelists Today?

Abstract: Professor Ruan Wei got his doctor’s degree from Edinburgh University,and have published many works both in contemporary English literature,Comparing of Chinese-Western culture and the western Classics. As an important part in western literature as well as in world literature,the 20th century British literature are read and studied by students both from Chinese department and English department in China. In this interview, Doctor Gao Zhaocheng talked five contemporary British writers with professor Ruan Wei.
