Title: A Study on Translation Technology in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Connotation, Classification and Trends
Abstract: In the era of artificial intelligence, booming language services and state-of-the-art translation technologies have exerted profound influences on translation practice. To achieve a better understanding of translation technology, the paper first focuses on the connotation, classification and trends from the macro and micro aspects and then classifies translation technology based on automation degree, translation process, translation objects and functions. Finally, the study unveils the whole picture of translation technology by further discussing different elements within and the whole system.
