Title: New Perspectives of Translation Studies Against the Background of the Technological Turn

Abstract: Translation technologies are widely used in translation practice, yet they just contribute little to translation theories. This paper states the definition of the technological turn, analyses the indifference between translation technologies and translation theories, and finally explores the new perspectives that the full application of translation technologies has made for the research of translation theories, namely new fields, new subjects, new angles, new research methods etc. It also draws a map of translation technology studies.
