Title: A Study of the Building of an Ancient Korean Temple Modeled on the Ganlu Temple of the Northern Song Dynasty and Reflections on the New Tourism Strategy Targeting Koreans

AbstractIn 1047 and 1048, as a Korean envoy to the Northern Song Dynasty of China, Lee JaYeon built a temple in Kaesong which was modeled on and named after the Ganlu Temple, in Zhenjiang, China. In thoe years cultural personages from China and Korea gathered in the two Ganlu Temples, writing and reciting Poems, and this led to a particular literary and cultural tradition. Consequently, an elaborately designed new international travel strategy and route for Korean travelers, which centers on the history, literature and landscape concerning Ganlu Temple and the three historical mountains in Zhenjiang, is strongly recommended, and it is worth exploring when the tourist industry of the whole Yangtze River Delta is put into the frame.
