Title: The Construction of MTI Special Courses with Ethical Elements: A Case Study of the Course of Translation of Local Culture in Shanxi University
Abstract: The proposed MTI Special course design emphasizes three things: that the cultivation of morals and beliefs should be highlighted in the course content, that translation competence should be developed in coordination with other teaching objectives, and that translation knowledge should be imparted based on TBL (Task-Based Learning) cooperative translation practice. It is hoped that the proposed curriculum will be able to cultivate students’ morals to integrate the college’s specialization and to meet the development of local economic, social and cultural development.
